These guides cover the new ExpiWell platform (v2) and are still being written, checked, and rearranged — pardon the scaffolding: pages may move or change between visits. Still on the legacy app? Its documentation remains on the old support portal.

Redeeming Without a Registered Account

A temporary account has no email address attached — that is the point of it. So when one of those participants redeems earnings, ExpiWell asks for an address at that moment rather than using one on file.

Note

The address is collected from the participant, by the app, at redemption. It is not visible to you, so paying a temporary-account participant does not tell you who they are.

In the app they open My Balance and tap Redeem Gift Card.

They enter an email address, and ExpiWell sends a one-time code to it. Entering that code proves the address is theirs before any gift card is sent to it.

The code arrives by email.

Entering it correctly confirms the redemption.

The Amazon.com gift card code follows by email shortly afterwards.
