How to Pay the Survey Participants
Paying survey participants is a common way for researchers to encourage participation in research. ExpiWell is an experience sampling tool, but we have also created a way to make this possible for researchers. There are benefits in using the ExpiWell payment tool.
Easy for researchers - Researchers no longer need to juggle different platforms, as they can now monitor their projects and pay participants on just a single platform.
Easy for participants - Participants can see their total earnings on their ExpiWell mobile app, and they can easily redeem it whenever they want.
Easy to set up - Researchers can easily upload an amount and base their compensation on metrics such as submission rates or response rates. They can see these details in the LOGS tab.

You can still message and pay participants even if your project is finished and deactivated.
NOTE: For Amazon.com gift cards, this is most useful when researchers are recruiting participants online and want to maintain participant anonymity and easily pay participants. You can easily pay based on their level of engagement (% complete), as shown in the ExpiWell log. Another reason is that researchers often need to fill out forms for each participant to pay them. By using ExpiWell, you are just paying a lump sum to ExpiWell, which then disburses the funds automatically.
